Liminality.
Two things at once, solid in form, then it does not exist... linking that space between. Liminality; the transition of the object to nothing.
The boundary of futility is liminality. Structure and form... but eventually is nothing. The void.
Affect Theory:
Not the emotional experience but the residue left. The residue could be the time lapse/ the record of the temporary artworks existence. The response that it leaves.
Residue: a small amount of something that remains at the end of a process.
Proustian: Involuntary memory; the ephemeral object could be the evocateur ? The object could evoke a memory / a psychological response in the viewer.
