Experiment 2

Second experiment with film, again not technically amazing, but zoomed in to show sections of interest as the ink billows into the fluid. Adding a filter to the film offers a different dimension to the contrast and tone. The two liquids dance and play around each other, there is both order and chaos, incited by happenchance; relinquishing the control to the materials. Once the ink enters the water its changes character irrevocably, it gradually mixes with the water dissolving more and more till the two fluids are one. This cannot be undone, what you are seeing in a fleeting moment that is unique unto itself, it holds that space and time before moving on.
The lack of sound focuses the viewer to the present moment, without imposing translation.
